●何かあったらいつでも相談できる体制を整えておく。 ●本人が感情的（キレる、パニックになる）になった時には冷静に対応し、こちらが感情的にならない（物理的距離を取り、落ち着くまで待つ＝クールダウンスペースとクールダウンタイム）。 ●不得手なことを無理強いせず得意なことを伸ばす（不得手なことは無理せずできる範囲に留める／工夫してその人ができるやり方を一緒に考える）。 ●不機嫌になりそうだったり焦りが見られたら、一人になれる時間と場所を与える。 ●一方的に指示を与えず、本人の言い分や考えを十分を聞く。 ●ストレスにとても弱くリカバリーにも時間が必要なので、非難するような表現や大声で感情的に叱らない。 ●先の見通しが立たないことへの不安があるので、スケジュールや予定を前もって伝えておく（メモなどで渡すと、より良い）。 ●提出物などの期限があるものは期日が守れないことも多いので、こまめに進捗状況を確認し期日などは付箋を使い目に付く場所に貼ってもらい、終わったら剥がしていく。 ●長い話は入らないのでいくつかに分けて話すか、メールなど記憶が残り見返すことができるものを活用する。 ●本人なりのルールやこだわり、パターンがある人も多いので、尊重できるものは許容すること。 ●視覚優位が多いので、視覚化できるものは視覚化する。 ●耳からの情報処理に時間がかかる人も多いので、滑舌よくゆっくりめに話すことを心がける。

こういう考え方があります。家や建物のバリアフリーは、高齢者や体の不自由な人に配慮した作りと言いますが、そうでない一般の人にも具合がいいですよね。それと同じ発想で、上記の接し方もココロのバリアフリーで発達障害ではない人にとっても具合のいいことではないかと思うのです。
